I’m really inspired by anything my senses pick up on – sounds, temperature, tasty stuff…
Artist-wise, I like a wide spectrum as long as it’s got good texture and rhythm: Ennio Morricone, Boom Bip, Four Tet, Orchestra Baobab, Ethiopiques, the Knife.
Ryan Cross began making music at 15 on a Tascam 4-track recorder, and he hasn’t stopped in the 20 years since. He’s been in a number of bands, including 6-Minute Heart Stop, Loch Lomond, Iretsu, and Us Lights, and has contributed his skills in soundtracking and sound design to many live productions for theater and dance companies.
