Rachel Chaiya Blumberg is a multimedia artist who works in the fields of visual art, music, animation, and filmmaking.

As a musician, she has worked with many widely acclaimed artists including The Decemberists, M. Ward, Bright Eyes, Califone, Death Vessel, Tara Jane O’Neil, Jolie Holland, and many more. In addition, she has composed music for The Portland Cello Project and her own music project called Arch Cape.

As an animator/filmmaker she has created stop motion animated shorts and music videos for the likes of Nada Surf (Barsuk Records) and Tom Hagerman (Devotchka), among others.

Originally from Portland, OR, she now lives in “heaven,” otherwise known as Tiverton, Rhode Island, surounded by woods and water with her sweetheart and furry cannine friend.
