You might recognize Brendan Kelly Scott as the enigmatic bass player of local band Magic Mouth, who toured with The Gossip last year and have become Portland favorites. Brendan found music at a young age, taking piano lessons from the age of six. He started making midi music with a friend when he was nine and has been doing it ever since. You might recognize Brendan as DJ Pocket Rock-it– a fixture in Portland night life for the better part of the last decade.
Brendan counts nature sound and sound effect CDs from the 90’s, the Raveonettes, and independent female solo electronic artists like Frankie Rose, Lydia Ainsworth, and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith as his musical inspiration.
